The St. James’s Place (SJP) Academy is delighted to recognise this year’s London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) prize winners of the Academy sponsored “Academic Excellence in Accounting Essay Prize”.

Three joint winners are congratulated for achieving the highest marks for their 6,000 word essays. Each receives a share of the prize money, a certificate and a copy of the Mike Wilson book – “How to be Chief Executive of your Own Life”. Mike was one of the founders of SJP and he and the LSE’s Professor of Accounting, Mike Power, originally started this annual prize award.

“We are pleased to continue our collaboration with the LSE and congratulate this year’s three winners: Achmad Masyhadul Amin, Gianluca D’Avino and Shengli Shen, students on the MSc ‘Accounting, Organisations and Institutions’ Programme’. We wish them the best for their futures.” Shaun Godfrey, Head of Marketing for the SJP Academy.

This short video introduces the prize winners and features Dr Kenneth Lee, Associate Professional Lecturer & MSC Programme Director and Shaun Godfrey talking about SJP’s history with the LSE and the relevancy today of the winning essays’ topics.
