At the end of last week (13 September), 180 new Academy graduates became fully-fledged financial advisers with SJP having completed our Financial Adviser Academy training programme.

Hosted at the Science Museum London, the event offered the chance to hear from our Chief Executive Officer Mark FitzPatrick, our Academy Director Andy Payne, as well as stories of previous graduates who are now thriving in their roles in the SJP Partnership.

The wealth market is set to grow over the next few years. Individuals in the UK today have around £3.3 trillion in liquid investable assets, and this is expected to grow at around 7% per year for the next seven years - showing a seam of many underserved people in need of some form of financial advice.

Andy Payne spoke to this effect on the day, saying:

“An estimated 39 million individuals in the UK who need some measure of financial advice from a trusted, qualified, professional adviser, but have yet to take any.
At a time when the number of advisers is flatlining and the average age of the advisers we do have in the industry is increasing, the profession has never been in greater need of new advice talent with integrity, empathy and a passion to positively change people’s lives.”

The event celebrated the hard work and success of those graduating, as well as their commitment to delivering brilliant outcomes to their future clients.
A huge congratulations to all our graduates!
