The St. James's Place Financial Adviser Academy was proud to welcome more than 200 new graduates into the profession at its annual Graduation Ceremony, held at London's Odeon Luxe Leicester Square.
The event marked a significant milestone for graduates, their families, friends and colleagues, who came together to celebrate the successful completion of the Academy programme and the beginning of exciting new careers in financial advice.
The ceremony opened with an inspiring address from Chief Executive Officer, Mark FitzPatrick, who reflected on the graduates' achievements and the important role they will play in helping meet the growing demand for trusted financial advice across the UK.
Graduates were then welcomed onto the stage by Academy Director, Mark Newman, to receive their certificates in recognition of the hard work, dedication and commitment they have shown throughout their Academy journey.
A highlight of the event was hearing from those who have already built successful careers through the Academy. Academy alumni and current SJP Partners, Lorraine Sellwood and Nathan Ind, shared their experiences of establishing rewarding businesses and developing long-term careers within the profession.
Graduates also heard from a panel of Academy alumni and recent graduates, hosted by Gee Foottit, Recruitment Campaigns and Partnerships Lead for the SJP Academy. Panellists shared their personal journeys into financial advice, lessons learned along the way, and advice for those beginning the next stage of their careers.
Reflecting on the occasion, Mark Newman said:
"We're thrilled to celebrate our newest group of graduates and recognise the dedication they've shown in reaching this important milestone. Every graduate should feel immensely proud of what they have achieved and the opportunities that lie ahead."
"The Academy continues to play a vital role in attracting talented individuals from a wide range of backgrounds into the profession, helping them build the skills, confidence and expertise needed to provide trusted, personal financial advice."
Established in 2012, the St. James's Place Financial Adviser Academy has helped thousands of people from diverse professional backgrounds successfully transition into financial advice careers, making it one of the UK's leading adviser training and development programmes.
Congratulations to all of our 2026 graduates. We look forward to seeing the positive impact they will have on clients, communities and the profession in the years ahead.
