Meet our Academy team and find out how they will help and support you to thrive in your training.
Partnership Recruitment Manager
A Partnership Recruitment Manager (PRM) is the first point of contact for someone looking to become a financial adviser. Their role is to understand your background and ambitions, helping you to determine if a career in financial advice is right for you. Your PRM helps identify your drivers for success, strengths, weaknesses and transferable skills, providing you with resources and guidance to support your application.
Partnership Selection Manager
A Partnership Selection Manager (PSM) gives you the confidence that you’re right for the Academy and the Academy is right for you. A PSM looks at your key qualities – such as Personal Impact, Resilience, Integrity, Drive, and Empathy - using psychometric tools to truly understand your motivations and ensure a strong culture fit for a career in financial advice.
Academy Training Manager
Our dedicated Academy Training Team delivers comprehensive technical and skills-based modules throughout our programme. They help you turn your academic knowledge into practical expertise, focusing on key areas such as personal effectiveness, interpersonal skills, client acquisition, client servicing, technology, systems, building a business and the SJP proposition. This ensures you have both the knowledge and practical experience needed to become a successful financial adviser.
Academy Support Manager
An Academy Support Manager (ASM) ensures that you have the operational expertise and knowledge to run a compliant and efficient business. An ASM guides new Partners and Financial Advisers through the systems, processes, and documentation required for regulated advice, allowing you to focus on what truly matters – growing your business and providing invaluable, face-to-face advice to clients.
Academy Development Manager
An Academy Development Manager (ADM) supports you through Terms 3 & 4 of your training. An ADM also authorises your Competent Adviser Status (CAS) during Term 3, meaning you can independently advise clients. Your ADM offers personalised, regular coaching and business support, helping you execute your business plan and develop your commercial and client-facing skills.
