Women hold more wealth than ever before and are set to inherit 56% of wealth transferred over the next two decades - yet just 18% of financial advisers are women.
This growing gap is creating a clear need for more women in the profession and a significant opportunity for those considering a career change.
At the same time, women are looking for more out of their careers. Our report reveals research that indicates the top 5 priorities women are looking for in their careers – and financial advice is one of the few roles that caters to many of them.
In Flexa's study, 59% of women prioritised salary, 54% sought work-life balance, 40% wanted location flexibility and 36% valued time flexibility –things that many women advisers cite as key reasons why they love their careers and would recommend it to other women.
