Live remote assistance
If you require quick support for a technical problem, it may be necessary for our support teams to connect remotely to your computer, in order to provide you with assistance.
With our live remote-assistance tool TeamViewer, a member of our support team will be able to do this securely and with your permission, in order to provide or ascertain the best solution for you.
How it works
- Please click here to launch the remote-assistance toolset.
- You will be prompted to download a small, secure SJP approved plug-in.
- To establish the session, you will be asked by the support team member to provide them with the ID and Password that will be generated to establish the session. These details are automatically generated and are unique to each remote support session.
- Once you have provided these details to the support team, the remote session will begin, and the support team member will have control of your machine. You will always have overriding control of your mouse and keyboard and you will be able to end the screen sharing at any time.
- After the session has been closed, the temporary secure code provided will expire, meaning that control of your computer cannot be re-established without the generation of a new secure code.
