  • Unit trusts

    Unit trusts

Unit trusts work really well if you are looking for medium- to long-term capital growth and income.

Unit trusts have many uses. They can, for example, give you the flexibility to use your annual capital gains tax allowance and/or your personal savings allowance in respect of interest paid and/or your dividend allowance in respect of dividends.

Parents and grandparents may also use them to invest for children/grandchildren although advice in relation to the tax implications will be key.

Although anyone can contribute to a unit trust for a child only the parent/legal guardian can open the unit trust for them.

  • Investment bonds

    Investment bonds

Investment bonds can provide you with tax deferred regular withdrawals and the potential for capital growth, and they are often used for investing within trusts.

They are simple, flexible and offer access to a wide range of asset classes.

Trusts are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

  • Offshore investments

    Offshore investments

Offshore investments can be really helpful for some investors.

For example, if you’re expecting your tax rate to fall or you are planning to live outside of the UK at some point in the future.

Our range of international investments offers a solution for investors wanting to invest regularly or by a lump sum, and provides access to a range of asset classes and currencies.

Currency movements may also affect the value of investments.
